EV Tour Poster Question

I hate to clog up the forum with this and I will delete tomorrow, but I was wondering if it has been difficult to get a poster at the shows on EV's current tour. I'm going to the Memphis show and would love to not have to show up as soon as doors open like I had to on the 2009 tour. I'll be coming from out of town and not sure I'll be able to get there early.

Any feedback would be great. Thanks, in advance, and Happy Thanksgiving to all! :D

Should be able to get one but if you show up later the lines can be quite long.

As long as you're there before Glen finishes, you should be OK. That being said...if there's a big buzz about the poster (e.g. Emek) it will sell out sooner as all of us start looking frantically for a poster buddy.

I saw people walking around with posters well into the show in Phx, and the artists prints are still available for it. That said, I think PHX was the biggest venue, maybe they made more.

But it really comes down to you and how bad you want it! And you never know if it will be the one print everyone wants, or a stinker. My plan was to hit the outside merc when I picked up my ticket, and take it back to the car so i wouldnt have to worry about it. But not all the shows have had the outside boot.

And after all that rambling, I guess I didnt answer your question at all, sorry.
  • Thanks, everyone! I don't mind waiting in line as long as I can snatch one up. I've gone to extreme lengths to get prints before and I'm getting to the point where I don't enjoy getting to the venue 2 hours early. ;) Glad to hear it hasn't been real difficult.

I can't wait for the show! I'll be at The Hampton Inn -Beale St if anyone wants to meet up before or after.
