Kind of just the same thing he said back in May isn't it? Except for the addition of Korn. I guess he really likes Limp Bizkit since he keeps bringing them up. They're not my cup of tea, neither is Korn.

I think he's friends with Fred Durst, he seemed a bit more dismissive about them back in the day.
What I wouldn't give to be a fly on the wall at one of those slumber parties. I have a hard time imagining those two together. Backwards hat and bald alien head.

I really wonder what was "going on beyond the music" in the late 90s...being the time I first got into music, I just remember it as a horribly bleak era and the rise of nu metal, and I distinctly recall wishing I could turn the clock back to 1992.

Yeah, I don't really have very fond memories either. Besides the rise of nu metal, it was also the rise (or another rise) in Boy Bands (NSYNC, Backstreet Boys) and the likes of Brittany Spears and Christina Aguilera. And a lot of rock bands I liked were putting out some questionable (to me) material. It wasn't all bad, but things looked pretty bleak.

Yeah, do you remember that Rolling Stone issue that said "The New Teen Spirit" with the Backstreet Boys on the cover that is also shown in PJ20? I remember seeing that in stores and having a huge facepalm moment. That and Fred Durst saying in an interview he was the next generation's Kurt Cobain did it for me.
Fred Durst said he is the next Kurt Cobain hahaha, never heard that one.
What a tool, hate him more now.
Does that mean he's going to shoot himself in the head soon?

All that I once held as true
I stand alone without beliefs
The only truth I know is you.

Interviewer should have handed him a shotgun and told him to prove it.
