Hey There!
I'm an everyday lurker and an infrequent poster on the forum. Anyway, I hope it's okay to whore out my own band on here.
My band is called Hangman of the Hero and we just put out our first single in October. You can check it out at hangmanofthehero.com
It's priced on a sliding scale, so you can download it for free by typing in "0" (of course if you want to pay, I won't complain! )
As Pearl Jam is my favorite band, there is definitely some Pearl Jam influence to my music, but hopefully it's not noticeable because I want to do my own thing. This first single is two heavy songs, but if heavy is not your thing, we will have a single out in January that will feature two slower songs.
The A-side is a bit poppier and sing-along-ish, and the second is a bit more artsy (as well as being my favorite of the two).
I hope you enjoy it - this is the beginning of some releases that I have put ten years of hard work into!

I didn't think the Pearl Jam influence was too noticeable. So don't worry about that.
I'm Zach, but I don't take offense at all! I appreciate the feedback!
I've always liked singers that had character to their voice rather than perfection. I'd take a Conor Oberst or Trent Reznor over a Susan Boyle or Christina Aguilera any day. Of course the songs are a bit yell-ish so I definitely didn't want it to sound pretty, for example - my favorite PJ song is Habit and I love how it sounds like Ed just had his tonsils ripped out.
The next single will have two softer songs that have more of an actual singing element to them.
And I'm thrilled that there's not a super noticeable PJ influence. My goal as an artist is to eventually sound like no one else!
