You pulled off Mother from Floyd like it was nothing, I think you could do the same with this song from The Animals... Love the version from White Buffalo, but when I was sitting there watching E.V. solo I thought to myself, man how cool would it be to hear E.V. voice sing this....

    I guess I might be a little jaded on House Of The Rising Sun because it's played so much, but I could go for that. My thinking is that Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood or We Gotta Get Out Of This Place might be better though, as far as Animals covers go. I have to work harder at not getting put off by songs just because they get played out on the radio though. So many classics have been going under my radar on account of that. Rising Sun really is a fucking classic, I just get that "rarities" bug from time to time, even if the band in question has never played said standard.

    PJ did pull off Mother like it was nothing, unfortunately it's really something and their take on it kinda blows. Ed sounds awkward and Mike's tone is kinda thin and weak to really nail the solo.

    I have to agree with this. As much as I love PJ and the song, it just doesn't sound right to me. The vocals especially.
