from what i read the new doco will be about more than just him as a musician. itll show his artist side as well.. which i cant wait to see more of. i truly think that had kurt not died this is the direction he wouldve gone towards. and yes i agree, about a son was excellent.

good point. i think this as well about what his world would have looked like had he continued on and lived. All the signs point to him quitting the music buisness completely, and divorcing courtney, and or making some completely off the wall album that sounded nothing like rock or grunge.

but yeah, his art was a big part of his life. I think that was a huge aspect of his creative personality and expression, the physical/artistic/painting/drawing aspect of everything. From designing the concept of the Heart Shaped Box video, to the stage set up of their In Utero Tour, the back cover of In Utero, and of course his own personal collection of paintings and drawings.

About a son is an amazing doco.
One of the best I have seen.
That was more about himself, his life.
I'd like to hope that the new one focuses totally on his art and not his life.

Kurt said he was sick of screaming and doing the grunge thing.
He wanted to be a singer-songwriter guy with an acoustic.
It breaks my heart we will never know what could have been, RIP Kurt.

how many have the beatles, or dylan or tupac or whoever had? Its not like he's some insignificant niche musician. I have no idea what new info this doc will provide, but i dont think interest in nirvana or kurt is lessening and depleting as the years go on.

this board certainly doesnt think so, but among the general public, kurt and nirvana are considered one of the most important bands in history, certainly the biggest and most important band of our generation.
