    I thought the same exact thing as I was listening to it just now...fuckin rediculous version! Love it when Matt counts off '3, 4!' before the bridge...pretty good show, too.

    I think "Crazy Mary" was the best version ever, especially Mike, towards the end, when he was rippin, rippin.

    "You Are" is a hard song to judge live. As long as the individual thought it kicked butt, more power to them.

    i just said this COULD be the best version because it just sounded so fuckin amazing...ive heard it live at a show only a few times out of the 15 or so shows I've seen...maybe actually only 1 show (MSG1) but I'm not sure...But i have heard about 8 other versions on bootlegs, and this version kicks their ass

    I was waiting for someone to catch that, haha...such an impressive show. I listened to it for the first time last night when 94.9 in San Diego broadcast it...definitely lived up to it's hype. I'm still going to wait until this leg is over, but so far that's definitely one of the shows I'm going to have to buy. I can't wait to see what the next two S.F. shows, Portland, and the Gorge are like.

    Yeah I think San Diego is one of the "good" shows this tour so far along with Albany, Boston, and East Rutherford 2

    I was never a huge fan of You Are, but being there and hearing it live has converted me. It was the best performance of any Pearl Jam song at any concert...ever! Hehe...I love it when people take things a little to literally.

    I loved San Diego...it was the best Pearl Jam concert I have ever been to!!! When you were there...it will seem like the best to you. Unless you've heard ever version of every song live...then it's hard to say if it's the best ever..BUT...the best to you....that's for you to say! :) I don't understand why people are getting so defensive about it?

    ....kind of like the best sex ever?!!!.... SO SUBJECTIVE!! ;)

    Those who choose to say it was the "best version ever" is speaking from their perspective. You are taking this comment into them referencing it was the best version ever, set in stone, file it away. Only someone simple minded would even take offense to to someone's assertion in stating their opinion.
    Why would you even use obscenities for someone expressing their thoughts just as you did?

    Could not agree more. Everyone wants to believe their city's performance was the best. No point in judging someone who gives his/her opinion. I was fortunate enough to see them Brazil a few times which for me was simply incredible. However, this past show in SD was something special for sure...just my .02. Who knows, when I see them in Prague and Italy I may change my opinion again.
