  • I really like her album and her image. She's caught a ton of flack over the last year and a half for being a marketing ploy, but I think she presents an interesting image and is making music that doesnt really sound like anything in the music world of 2012, and harkens back to the glory days of crooners like Sinatra and the like. Its one of the few times Ive been angry at the hipster world for loving her in June of 2011, and then swiftly turning on her. Im a fan, but its unlikely you will get many people on here, or elsewhere saying they enjoy her music. I think the music's genuine and her appreciation of the golden age of music, the 1940's/50's and early 60's I believe is also genuine

She's really stunning isn't she? I like to choose albums/artists I haven't listened to before when I travel and I chose her music to listen to a month ago. I really loved some of the tracks, not a big fan of the more hip hop sounding ones though. I really liked the range of her voice, I'm a big fan of woman who can sing low yet still has an awesome tone to their voice. good stuff!

Yeah, its her best one yet. That being said, her singles are always way stronger than the deep cuts. When she puts out a hits/singles comp in a few years its gonna be all fire.

I agree.  Overall I don't dislike any of the songs except Summer Bummer.

This album is an absolute gem..... Just like all her others, you have to jump in there and go for the ride where she takes you. She truly is IMO in a class of her own.

For what it's worth, if you spell Lana backwards, it spells anal. :)

    Really is a great album.

And "it's like I am wiping a marker or something" line is hilarious.
