Just to clarify matters regarding the statement, "Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince".
I just want people to know... just because you find it on the internet... it isn't true. Just like you don't believe everything you see on television, right? We are blessed with intelligence and we should use it once in a while. Think for ourselves, instead of listening to others.

The oldest date I was able to find was from a political blog where the author said he had received it via E-Mail listing the author as 'Unknown'. His date was 14January2010... which predates reports of the Czech Newspaper by 3 months (28April2010). So, that is not the source, but yet, another Internet fallacy.
Apparently, it was getting bounced around by who knows who and your crazy Aunt Ginny launched a copy from her AOL Account. It is often used on Right Wing sites, such as FreeRepublic and blogs by Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck and lots and lots of gun forums. It is mostly used in the comments section of blogs and in forum passages or as signatures.

I would like to run-down the exact source to the quote to see who it was written about. Because, you can substitute anyone's name and the same thing applies:
“The danger to America is not Barack Obama, but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools, such as those who made him their president.”
“The danger to America is not George W. Bush, but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of a Bush presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. “The danger to America is not Ronald Reagan, but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of a Reagan presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. “The danger to America is not Ulessyes Grant, but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of a Grant presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Grant, who is a mere symptom of what ails America. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a U.S. Grant, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools, such as those who made him their president.”
“The danger to Egypt is not Mubarack, but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. But I agree, many people believe something they read online just by virtue of it being online. It was a little more understandable in the early days of internet use. But maybe it's no different from believing what's in the tabloids. I mean, somebody has to be buying those things at the supermarket, even if they look preposterous.

You dudes are my reason to stay.
I love it.
Opinions are just that.
(tired of rednecks , but with out y'all... There is no Yen without Yang)
or is it Yang? I'm so tired. And peeved a bit. No Ed solo concert for me. It's likely over now (the show), but tomorrow I'm still not going. Nice distraction
