The Rural Alberta Advantage sound like him. Though they are a little more rocking.

Neutral Milk Hotel made two albums and then jeff kind of went into hiding for almost like a decade not performing or releasing new music. In an Aeroplane over the Sea is considered by many to be one of the best albums of the 90's. It's really good.

Spin it a couple times if you like it i would go, but get tickets the minute they go on sale. Last time he played i tried to get tickets when they went on sale and i was locked out i could not get them.

Go if you can. You never know when he'll disappear for a decade or two again. I saw him earlier this year and it was awesome!

Thanks for this post i would probably not have heard about the tour if it wasn't for you. My buddy and i are going he saw Neutral Milk Hotel in Athens back in the day when he was going to school there and turned me on to them in the early 2000's when we met so its going to be a very cool show for both of us.

I got online and could not get tickets buti kept hitting refresh for literally 15 minutes and finally a pair popped free and we got them.
