The challenging thing for General Petraeus is that in his new position, he’s not allowed to communicate with the press. So he’s known all of this — they had correspondence with the CIA station chief in, in Libya. Within 24 hours they kind of knew what was happening.

i still dont know why that kelly lady was frightened. She got some e-mails saying back off. im not sure why she altered the feds.

i wonder if the fbi used the provisions of the patriot act to gather info on petraeus, broadwell and now kelley and allen? did they gain access to personal emails? did petraeus have an affair in afghan against policy?

I'm trying to to reserve judgment because there is A LOT to this story and I haven't yet got my head around what we know, never mind what we don't know.
