The bubble of sound is rising
from somewhere far below
it's floating up from the dark
urging me to make a sound
a creak, a squeal
maybe say something?
before it's too late?
it's forcing it's way up like an inconvenient burp
a bubble of delicious air
seconds-are-passing-every-moment
a cough?
a whisper?
a word?
a scream?!
