I've been wondering what exactly does Ed say at the end of Wishlist?? He thanks St. John's for keping him warm. But what else is he saying?
On a side note the little "Hey Ho let it Go" from night one was teh first time they ever did that and Eleanor Rigby was a tag at the end of 1/2 Full on Night 2 also a first.

I dunno, but I want to say that i heard that concert for the first time a couple of weeks ago and it became a favourite one...It´s definitely the most underrated 2005 show...kudos to you for being there

Which did you listen to? Night 1 or 2??
I loved Night 1 for the pure energy and some of the songs i didn't expect to hear....Nothing as it Seems, Present Tense, Don't gimme no lip and U

Night 2 had a great setlist and Rockin in the free world at the end was amazing the crowd was loving it too...the lights up everyone jumping around and making some noise lol

Yeah it's one of my top 3 from the 2005 tour. The only thing that I'm bummed out about is my jeremy file is corrupt and I never burnt the show to CD. But over all, still worth the listen.

that is so true...night 1 was probably the best time I've seen them yet...that might have just been topped last week by Toronto 2, still not sure!...the crowd was horrible for St. John's 2, and the show was a little slow going...it was an average show

both shows were awesome, sure there were more fan club members the first night, but the second night was still great, you can't stereotype a crowd by the few people who are just there to get drunk and hear jeremy and even flow. at one point before an encore the entire crowd was chanting 'pearl jam' and stomping on the floor, going nuts..now I'm sure a lot of you might be used to that and have been to much bigger venues, but it was pretty special for st. john's, and you don't see our crowds going nuts for just any ol band. I thought the crowds were awesome both nights, and I'm sure pearl jam does as well...jeff ament even said in an interview a while back that both the st.john's shows were 'epic', and they definitely were imo.

I'm not sure what he's saying at the end of "Wishlist", but it seems to be a thankful note to fans that had been following them through 2005 Great White North tour. It's almost like an Improv tag, a third the length of the song itself, He goes on and mentions life there, being warm, etc...

Here's my interpretation of the "Keep Me Warm" improv from St. John's 2:

    (ts. 4:05-5:56)
I wish I was this fortunate
'Cause me I'm holding where you get*
    Some places you won't forget
And I haven't stopped living quite yet...

And when I'm at home I'll think of you here
When I'm at home, I'll know you're near
When I'm at home, I've got memories to hold me
    Memories to hold me, oh...
    Ho-o-old me... Ho-o-old me...

Keep me warm, keep me warm...
I'll think of St. John's to keep me warm
Come keep me warm, keep me warm...
I'll think of St. John's to keep me... w-a-a-arm...
    W-a-a-arm, oh-ho...

    "I actually mean it."

    * - the least decipherable line of the lyric. Eddie may be singing "Cuz with me I'm only what you get, but I don't know what that entails.

And I thought the "Eleanor Rigby" tag was at the end of "Black"? At first I was hyped up about it because the track's 11 minutes long (and "E. Rigby isn't that long of a song, so ON PAPER IT LOOKS LIKE IT WOULD FIT), but the first 2.5 minutes are the "Iceberg Speech" (which is endearing, but still, wish it could have been cut away as a Speech or Encore Break track), and you've got your basic "Black" tag with the extended (but not actually sung) "We belong Together" tag, before moving slowly/emotionally into the "Eleanor Rigby" tag

    Black's "Eleanor Rigby" tag:
    (ts. 9:37-10:03)
I look at all the lonely people
I look at all the lonely people
I look at all the lonely people...

In reality if you cut out the "Iceberg/History of Black" speech and the extended fade out, "Black/Eleanor Rigby" all told is still only 8:00, average length of the song these days. Cut out "E. Rigby" and it's 7:44 in length, so no... not a long tag at all.

I was disappointed they didn't more with "E. Rigby" (since they at least went a minute and a half with their Stone's "Ruby Tuesday" tag during the last couple of tours), but it wasn't that disappointing... it just seems like the band was trying something new for their last night in Canada.

As to the discussion, the boot is pretty good, very overlooked (In discussion threads of best boots of 2005 I don't recall anyone bringing up St John's 2), and it shouldn't be put down. Right now I only have Gorge, Kitchener, London, Toronto, Quebec City, St. John's 2, I want St. John's 1 to compare and the Halifax show, but can't afford them. (Medicine before Bootlegs). The shows are addictive but I've been sinking a lot of money into the boots. It's too bad since it's the holiday season they can't offer a deal such as "Buy Three, Get One Free" Special or something four a couple of weeks. It would guarantee a spike in sales, I'm positive.

Night 1 looks to have the better setlist, but there's something passive and warm about the Night 2 boot. It's a solid show.
