how long is an acceptable wait time to vote?

an hour to vote? two hours? a half hour? how long is too long to wait?

how long did you wait to vote? state?

    waited two minutes, but then again I'm not in the clusterfuck that's Manhattan and i've been voting at the same site for years and it also was seven in the morning.

    time it right, and there is no wait.

    just remember,

    people wait for hours to get on roller coasters...

    people wait hours to get front row at a pj concert....

    people wait hours to get the latest gadget....

    i don't think having to wait a little to vote is all that big of deal. obviously, you would like to be in and out in under 15 minutes, but if i have to wait a bit to vote none of the above, i will.

    Exactly. All those apple buyers (heck I have a few apple gadgets but never waited in line) bitching about waiting an hour or 2 to vote make me throw up in my mouth. It's all about priorities.

    I went right when the polls opened and was out of there in 30 minutes.

    I was surprised to hear people here in Florida waiting for hours during early voting. (I mean, their ballots are just going to be lost anyways :lol: )...I waited until 5pm yesterday and strolled in...no line whatsoever, voted in 5-10 minutes and still caught happy hour. ;)

    there is no reason it should take hours to cast a vote. that's either poor planning or poor execution in those areas. i was in and out in about 15 minutes. went at 7:15 and was number 80 at my polling place.
