Anyone have a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1??

It's between this and the 4th Gen IPad for my 1st dive into tablets.

I've had the iPhone since it came out, and am familiar with apple. But I've heard the galaxy is pretty pimp minus the retina display offered by apple.

It would be for work but mostly entertainment.

They both retail the same $499 for 16gb wifi.

Any advice?

    I don't have a tablet, but if I were in your shoes I'd probably go with an iPad just because all the iPhone apps are compatible with it.

    I have no tablet, so I can't really speak from first-hand experience. What I will say is try them both out, and see which one feels better for you. If you want crisp/clean out of the box, go for iPad. If you want a world of customizability and power, go with the the Note. Each one has its pros and cons, so figure out what's really important to you. If all you want is a bigger version of your iPhone, with all the same (albeit tabletised) apps, then the iPad should be your choice.
