I can honestly say I haven't heard a song by them, but I am catching them in concert later this month. They'll be opening for the Gaslight Anthem. What would be a good song/album to check out in preparation?0

I can honestly say the Joy Formidable is the most exciting band on the planet right now....I just cant get enough of them....Their debut album The Big Roar...is exactly that....BIG....just an amazing record from start to finish. Theyve just finished a tour opening for Muse....Muse should be opening for them, they have better songs. Cant rate them higher.0

I should have Wiki'd them earlier. Didn't realize they have only released one album. I'll check it out.0

I should listen to them more, saw them open up for Foo Fighters last year and really enjoyed, they put on a fun show!"Sometimes you find yourself having to put all your faith in no faith."

I listened to their album earlier today. I was impressed. I'll give it a few more spins before I see them, but the first impression was a positive one.0

Saw them in 2011 at Outside Lands. They were the very first band I saw in the early afternoon at the festival and they blew me away! They were so great live and I really got into their album after that. Saw them again in their own headlining show in LA and they were great again.
Excited to see them for a third time later this month. Their playing a small club gig at the Troubadour and I'm excited to hear new material!0 -
