I'm a flip flopping fool. :)

Don't understand why that is considered a weakness. To say you don't flip flop is to say you are unwilling to proceeds information and make unbiased judgement.

The problem is when someone flip flops simply because they are pandering and trying to win votes.

And I aslo agree with you. My political views today are certainly different then when I was a high political science student in college and I'm sure they will be different 50 years from now when I'm a miserable old fuck in a retirement home playing grab ass with the nurses. 8-)

a word of advice - be careful when googling images for thongs  Holy hell I did not need to see that image so up close

Sure...our political views are going to grow and change...that shouldn't stay static. I just hope that when a politician changes views on an issue it's a genuine change of view and not just placating a group of people for nominations or votes. I know that is too much to ask.

I've flipped a few times but I've never flopped.

Yeah, I agree for most things.

That's why this election is driving me nuts. I know most people say that someone that is undecided is just stupid, but I really think each candidate has some good to offer and some bad. Though, I'm not a true undecided as I decided not to vote for Obama the minute he made his whole solution to tax people more. But I still don;t know if I'm voting for Mitt or someone else.

Over time when you are convinced you are on the wrong side of an issue there is no fault in changing your position.

I'm sure you are referring to Romney. He seems to change his position night to night depending on who is listening. This is not a strength, this is a weakness. Kerry was fried for it.

I think it's part of evolving; rigidity isn't always a good thing...and while I do think we peons have some sort of collective impact in our choices and mindsets, it's a much grander scale in the political realm - larger ripple-effects.

I'm for it if it comes from a sincere and well-thought-out place.

Ugh...I thought this was going to be a post about actual flip flops...a topic I am surprisingly quite passionate about. Nothing more disgusting that seeing a man's toes in flip flops.

    Amen.

Worth a look at people! Not that expensive and much more pleasing to those around you. When it comes to footwear, think socialist:
