...2:40 a.m. and I can't sleep with excitement for tonight's show! I kept telling my wife that last night felt like Christmas Eve. I saw EV for his first two tours at the Wiltern in LA, and I moved back to Phx 2 years ago, convincing anyone I could in my hometown to join me in April at the EV show. The postponement has only enhanced my anticipation for tonight's show, and the "possibility" of Black after LV is certainly intriguing. I hope the Phoenix crowd is into the Show but has the 'smarts' to not endlessly yell out requests after the impromptu Black, as EV has always said, "I know how to put together a f'ing setlist" -

Added intrigue with the live broadcast - hope all those in attendance enjoy what should be another religious experience...Enjoy!

    I'll be listening on the radio so I share your enthusiasm. It will be interesting to see how he mixes up the set list.

    I know what you mean about the aprehension before the show. I felt the same way before the Vegas shows and am still reeling from them days later. If I may though: Don't worry about Black being played as it was a very impromptu event with Ed having a real change of heart about and warming up to Las Vegas and the lady with the 5K. Rest assured he will mix up his sets pretty good and connect with the Phoenix crowd in another special way that should leave you feeling quite satisfied. Enjoy!

    He's been mentioning Dennis a lot lately from the Frogs. The guy had a crazy death, some kind of swimming incident. I wouldn't mind a little rendition of "Ive Done Drugs" or "Grandma in the Corner with a Penis in Her Hand" from the Frogs to remember Dennis. That would bring tears to my eyes. Black would work too ;) Can't wait!

    In 20 years, I've never been so disappointed in 10C seats. 28th row, really? After all these years, 28th row? After waiting since MAY, 28th row? My brother, with equally long tenure, 30th row? Really, 10 Club? That's the best we could do? If only you'd let us know, we could have bought some good fucking tickets and you could have set these up for someone who"s been in the Club for 2 or 3 years, instead of 20. Thx for nothing. Great show though, Ed. Would have been better if I'd known I needed binocculars.
