You were always the one
you would bet your life on the riseing sun
and the world followed you
into a atomic winter
into victory
there was nothing else you could do.

So tell me Mr. citizen
how many times did the winter call your name
I know you did what needed to be done
you bet your life on the riseing sun
and you remembered all their names.

The snow flake ash that covered the Hiriosma temple
the only one left to stand
shared a voice and a memory of pearl harbor and oil in the sand
and while Arizona lay dieing nobody could understand.

And yes Mr. Citizen they did it all for you
they woke the sleeping tiger
I wonder if they knew.

And late at night as you lay sleeping
the cries of the unknowing slipped inside your dreams
to find a place of peace and just to let you know
the dragon and tiger will find comfort inside your soul
together as brother's now for ever more.

As the northern wind's carried the snow flake ash
high into the mountian's and the tree's
it followed the ghost's of yesterday
that waited to be free.

And yes Mr. Citizen they did it all for you.
