My personal PJ tour bucket list.

The places I would like to see them play in 2013, and that I would travel to.

I reserve the right to iterate indefinitely.

1. Boston (okay, it's only a half mile from my house, but I have to cross a bridge so that's technically travel)
2. CHICAGO
3. Hartford
4. NYC
5. Jersey
6. Philly
7. DC
8. SEATTLE
9. Some unlikely spot they pick, that I wouldn't necessarily have visited for any other reason, but that I will love  Missoula!

How about you?

These are places to which I'd be willing to travel to see PJ in 2013:
    1. Chicago
    2. Las Vegas
    3. Detroit
    4. Amsterdam
    5. Calgary (though I've already seen them there once before)

At this point it would be to see a regular show of theirs anywhere in the US
And so you see, I have come to doubt
All that I once held as true
    I stand alone without beliefs
The only truth I know is you.

    Wow- tough choice!
-Texas because I've never been there and my wife has relatives there.
-Seattle because that's where it started and I lived on the Olympic Peninsula for a number of years and have family up there.
-The Gorge because I hear it's an amazing venue and am fascinated by the geology and landscape of the area.
-Portland because it a great town and maybe they would cover "Portland" by The Replacements.
-San Francisco because it's my home city and I love the place.
-Red Rocks would be cool too, but I'm not familiar with the area so I'll settle for four out of five.

  • I used to want to see them in Europe but considering the expense, I'll pass for now. Seeing them in Canada was probably the last thing to cross off. Though I'd go to Chicago again if the schedule permits for another Speedy-Palooza.

That looks like The Brady Bunch backyard. Or maybe the Partridge Family backyard?

Boom would have to share the keyboards with Laurie Partridge.

Matt's a better drummer than the various little Partridge brothers who appeared behind the kit.

So jealous, I was so close to going to the Honolulu show in 06 but my wife talked me out of it because we were planning on having our first kid. I'm still upset about that one, she caught me about to book my flight and it turned into a huge fight. But our daughter arrived the next year, so I kind of got over it. But the next time they play there, I'm planning on being there.

I know, if you can't tell I'm still bitter about not going. I was planning on going to Steamers tomorrow, since I'm only a couple hours away, but said kid is sick. I have to wait and see how she feels in the morning. But since the conditions are pretty bad right now I might just have to stay home and watch the live feed. The forecast is only 2-3 with poor conditions, so I don't know if it will be worth it.
