To answer your question: not always. But we should also be wary of magical thinking as a solution to problems and be especially doubtful of corporate right wing media. We should use critical thinking and go outside once in a while and look around and see for ourselves what up.

So CBS, ABC, NBC, MSNBC, CNN and PBS are all corporate left wing media outlets? Cause it seems that they have much more power, influence and presence than FOX!

I mean think about it- half hour or at most one hour "news" programs minus time for ads (which right now is about 50% of the time listening to candidates telling why the other one is bad instead of what they will do- except maybe Diane Feinstein- she seems to keep it about what she will do) and then divide the "news" time by how many items are covered and you get these little sound bites that add up to practically nothing. So no, none of the above. You really won't learn much from any of those sources.

So I would say that when Bush was Prez, they (the media) left no stone unturned and they pursued the truth, especially when it was ugly! They caused the approval of the President to go down, which was good in many ways. However, not even FOX now investigates like that for Obama. Obama gets away with murder on every level right now. Have you actually heard the questions he gets? LOL WOW Unbelievable!

Well, I honestly don't see much difference. The media hasn't picked every hair out of Obama's ass? Of course they have. It's all the same fluff. If you agree these media sources aren't the best sources for information, why get riled up about it?

I'm thinking there was more 'unturned' with Bush than we'll ever know. The media wasn't responsible for Bush's approval ratings- he was.

I am not sure anyone here is suggesting that Obama is perfect, but given the alternative though... he looks pretty damn good. Be careful what you wish for F4F. From what I can see... Mitt is clueless. His well-publicized 'flipping' reflects a problem you do not want in a leader on any level- he has no clear vision or big picture awareness.

I am astounded that people still call the mainstream media "liberal." I would love to see some research that supports that assertion. I think the MSM is corporate, so if the corporate position is liberal on a specific issue, then it is liberal. If the corporate position is conservative on a specific issue, then the MSM is conservative. I wish people would stop using this false dichotomy.

HEY THERE SURE!!!!! Google Fast and Furious and find the truth and see how many people died on both sides of the border! Also make sure you understand that the media hid the truth mainly from THE PEOPLE of this nation.

Look up truth on Dream Act

Look up truth on Patriot Act extensions that liberals would never support

Look up truth on jobs numbers as they thwart the defintion of it and are able to lie to you about it, without lying! LOL

How about this....look up the truth about how many jobs the stimulus created

Look up how many billions went to waste in Green Energy sector....for some reason the media is very silent on the whole green jobs numbers and Al Gores energy stock market based out of Chicago! Look it all up!
