    Drove 2 very short distances in the car today and both times I heard Black on PJR.
    Woke up this AM and checked the thread from the EV show last night, saw these posts and had 'Black on the Brain' -- very fitting that in both short car rides I heard live versions as well.
    My wife had tears streaming at MIA when they played it and her words when I told her of last night's rendition over breakfast: "I would have cried like a baby throughout."
    What an amazing song....so many years and it still can hit like a hammer!

    I teared up last night and I'm still getting choked up today thinking about the show last night, and the performance of Black. Not just the show and Black by itself, but also all the great people here and the corwd was something else.

    Said it before it's impossible to describe the feeling and what happened in that room last night. Amazing.

    Of all the concerts I have been too, and memorable things that I have seen at shows, unplanned, unrehearsed, etc. What I experienced last night ranks at the top of them all. The show of emotion from Ed, the crowd, people just willingly handing over cash to him for the cause and the offer of 5G's to play Black was amazing, and something that I am never going to forget. Thank you for that Ed.

    Eddie in Vegas the second show was amazing!! When a women offered him $5000 for the disease I believe he said OE, he said he would think about it, A little while later he did take her up on the offer to help the children with the disease, and it was AMAZING. You had to be there!! And Natalie Maines came out, and did 2 songs with Eddie, it was Great ! And Glen & Eddie were also just a great show. :D

    I was lucky enough to be at both of these shows, as my first ever EV or PJ shows.I will never ever be able to express the emotions of being there.As of right now I can only post about these shows, because as soon as I try to talk about them,and especially Black,or it being my 1st show night 1 and getting my fav Masters of War, I just start crying and can't even speak!!Most amazing,life affirming experience I have ever had.

    Oh I completely teared up during Black. Especially when he was silent and the crowd was chanting "do do doo do doodoodoooooo" oof..it was shivering.
