watched it till 2.30 last night really mad for you's that are in it only 13 dead thankfully hope your all safe if your anywhere near this storm .
im waiting to see wot they do with a crane thats broken now thats mad :shock:

    Looks like most east coasters heeded the warnings....considering the population, seems like a very low amount of casualties.

    Anyway, I have lots of family throughout NY and CT as well. Good thoughts to them and anyone else who's getting hit hard by this. The footage I've seen is just frightening.

    Maybe we should kept our posts and concerns about Sandy on AET instead of the more politically oriented AMT.

    In any case, my biggest concern is for the well being of family and friends back east. Best wishes to all of you.

    I grew up in NJ, all of my family is still there no power, and I cannot really get a hold of them. Cell service is in and out. The boardwalks where I grew up are all gone. :( . It will take time but they will be back. I hope and pray for all effected in this storm.

    I hope all of our east coast friends are safe, warm and dry.

    Heartbreaking almost seems an understatement.

    (and, bless those who by career or character - or both - have acted with such courage and kindness. Not like I welcome disaster, but man, does it bring humility and gratitude to the forefront.)

    thats wot we thought as we watched it but you couldnt see how bad it was till the next day .i cant stand politics but its good to see Obama and Romney saying to cut red tape so peple can get things done quicker :)

    close friends of my gf lost their home and likely their cats ... :(

    why they chose not to evacuate when they were told is mind boggling ... even more mind boggling is that because the woman didn't want to leave her home - her sister joined her with her cat ... awful ...

    Yeah Sandy kicked our asses but we are NYerks will get thru this ...

    Now it's the waiting game for me i have to wait till the Insurance agent get to my house to take assesment of damage i allready have a contractor who took assesment of all the damage that will need to be repaired and State Farm has allready called me back with my claim number ...
