If not THE best, then certainly among them. I've only caught one episode from this season, but it was as good as any during the show's run.

I have to say that as a huge time-travel geek, their episodes involving that subject have all been instant classics.

they do the future, time travel, etc very well. Matt Groening has always been a science geek I guess, but couldnt really scratch that itch with the Simpsons other than the Halloween episodes.

It certainly is a great output for his inner sci-fi geek. I was worried when it came back, but they've managed to produce episodes just as good, or better, than during its original run.

Its one show that I can watch and be entertained. There is so much worthless, mindless crap out there that isnt worth the time of day that survives like a cockroach.

in a pawn shop a few weeks ago.
    Ah, bliss!
Gotta track down the next three volumes now...

    Cheers.

The last season was pretty weak... awesome show, though and one of my favorites.

this blows, but glad they revived it and gave us an extra three seasons.

the show has always had such a sharp humor that gets lost in the family guy fart joke shuffle. ashame.

    Indeed:

“As I said three times before, this is definitely the absolute end of the show. I don’t know why nobody believes me when I say that.”

    :lol::lol:

Edit: Blerg. That was Cohen. Sentiment remains the same.

I saw somewhere they called it "The Best Last Season Yet"

here is a more uplifting take:

    http://www.entertainmentwise.com/news/1 ... es-To-Tell

"We’ve been in this situation before and it’s tempting when you’re doing episodes that are as good or better than anything you’ve ever done to continue doing it," he tells Entertainment Weekly.

"We’re catching our breath and seeing what the fans have to say. The experience of this show has been so much fun from the very beginning to now — everybody is so happy to work on this show — that it’d be a shame if we all went our separate ways.

"We would love to continue. We have many more stories to tell. But if we don’t, this is a really great way to go out. I think these episodes are the best ones we’ve ever done."
