Hulk Hogan settles sex tape lawsuit with Bubba ‘The Love Sponge’ Clem


Former pro wrestler Hulk Hogan has settled a lawsuit with a disc jockey over a sex tape involving Hogan and the DJ’s wife.

A statement by Hogan’s publicist Monday says the terms of the settlement are confidential.

Hogan said in a lawsuit earlier this month that he had consensual sex with his best friend’s wife, Heather Clem, six years ago in the Clems’ home, but he didn’t know he was being videotaped.

The disc jockey, Bubba “The Love Sponge” Clem, apologized to Hogan on Monday. Clem also said that he’s convinced Hogan was unaware he was being filmed.

A lawsuit is still pending against the gossip website Gawker, which put excerpts of the video on its site.

    i don't think bubba or hulk are smart enough to come up with this pr stunt on their own, so the publicist who concocted this should get an award

    not sure why howard participated...although there is a slim chance he didn't know

    I was just reading up on this. It was actually Bubba that secretly taped it, and he can be heard at the end of the video saying to his wife "if we ever want to retire, all we need is this footage". Bubba apparently was shopping around for the highest bidder.

    It was all for publicity IMO (on both ends). Both guys are attention whores who are into wrestling, making fake friction, etc.

    Who is paying for the video... at least a significant amount? Not to mention it looks like it was filmed with a camera from the 1930s 2 miles away. Then the internet makes everything viral, so whoever pays for it, would never make the money back.

    Plus its suspect that Hogan is all cool with it now that he "apologized" and there was some undisclosed "settlement".
