I don't know whether to be upset, surprised or embarrassed!
Your take on the video and strategy?

I guess it's sort of funny/weird. Especially since the first time is usually a big disappointment leaving you wondering what all the fuss is about. I guess it depends on who they're trying to target. I don't agree with Rush's assessment unless this was just sent to women...then it would be straight up weird...and kind of pervy.

LOL I think its a little below the office if they, themselves put it out! I also think that your first time should be with the right guy! So much anticipation leads to dissapointment huh?

I think if you're going to use the analogy, REALLY use the analogy and make it funnier :) But that would maybe offend/alienate more people. Exactly! Keep your expectations low and there's no room for disappointment :? :P

Would you tell your daughter that when she turns 15?

As a card carrying conservative Republican I think this is pretty good. Hate to admit it but kudos for sending something like this out. It takes balls and I like that. I guess politically Im more conservative but socially I'm more liberal. Let your freak flag fly.
  • My first time WAS with the right guy. We're still friends on Facebook.

    But I digress.

I realize that conservatives are desperately trying to create a controversy out of anything now (the new "All Jeep Production Going To China" ad is such a lie, I'm amazed it didn't end with Godzilla eating a Jeep TJ with Daisy Duke inside). But honestly... If you really think someone is going to get upset about this, you...

    Oh..

"Desperate times apparently call for desperate ads. That's the only way to explain the President's sorry excuse for a get-out-the-vote video--which has all the class of a rest stop bathroom stall. With help from Lena Dunham, star of HBO's sleazy Girls, the ad compares voting for Obama with losing your virginity. And liberals wonder why women are turned off! After an entire campaign built on 'lady parts,' more women are waking up to the contempt Democrats have for them." - Hate group leader Tony Perkins, via press release.

"The misogynistic Obama Campaign has released an obnoxious, double-entendre of a Web ad, featuring a woman who looks and acts like an overly immature, tattooed twelve-year-old*. Once again, Obama is reducing women to — do we have to say it again? — 'lady parts.' Well, the pimply faced adolescents over at Obama HQ need to grow up and realize that we think with our brains and act with our hearts — again, 'Lady Smarts, Not Lady Parts.' Obama’s good ‘ol boys may have their minds in the gutter, but our minds are on our pocketbooks. In every sense of the phrase, 'It’s the economy, stupid.' Did they miss the headline about the 'gender gap' between Obama and Romney disappearing? Maybe it’s because we’re not a bunch of cheap floozies, easily bought with condoms and free pills." - Penny Nance, of Concerned Women For America, a group run mostly by men with a few female professional temper tantrum throwers.

*uh... what fucked up world does this Harpie live in where 12 year-olds get tattooed?
