in other news, sea isle residents are still not able to get onto the island yet i feel like they got the least news coverage than the other towns down there and they're still in the dark about the damage to their homes. pretty upsetting....

My friend Kim lost her home. Around the corner from her, a 13 year old girl was killed and her dad is still missing.

Staten Island was hit extremely hard.

Thankfully I'm not near water but it seems that two of my favorite waterfront places are destroyed in the Nautical Mile and the boardwalk at Rockaway Beach,

9,000 customers of LIPA(long island power authority) in his town are still without power. hopefully he isn't one of them.

i know from last years hurricane his town was up and running in 2-3 days
