    Comon we KNEW Ed would come out for Ben's set. Ben came out for the Vic, and many many other PJ sets, and vice versa. Ed left the Cubs game and you knew he'd hit lolla and Ben's set at the very least. To me it was obvious. The song choice though was a great surprise!

    Ed with Ben (who played a pretty awesome show tonight) was great. Ed was chillin at the side of the stage for a few songs before with a nice bottle of wine.

    It was a great moment, every Pearl Jam fan at the Ben Harper set knew Eddie would show up. I can't believe they played Masters of War though, it was amazing. Eddie was spot on with his vocals and Mr. Harper was really good to. I knew what song they were playing the second the first note was strung, the guys next to me were PJ fans and it took them awhile, well I actually told them immediately what the song was.

    That was the most intense I've seen Ed in quite some time. Probably the best version of MoW I've seen.

    we saw the first half of daft punk set then ran all the way across grant park to catch the last 5-6 songs of Ben's set
    got to hear my very favotire ben tune
    and see eddie for masters of war
    knew it would happen
    especially since ben came on at the vic. and Ben sounded great
    the only time i cursed the lolla schedule was when i saw daft punk and ben harper listed same day/time
    good thing i wore my running shoes :)

    when Ben said "you'll know him when you see him" I knew. Same thing Eddie said when he brought out Ben the night before. It was great.

    Thats awesome, dang Im pissed I didnt go. Oh well, hopefully Sunday Eddie will say the same line and him and Ben will play indifference.
