Help your homeboy out...

What the hell does this mean? I had a dickhead boss say this all the time and I searched my brain to make sense of this and I thought I got it but really I don't.

What does this mean? "perception is reality"

I can't figure it out. It is said all the time by the talking heads but the context is ?????

I found my place......and it's alright

Nope. Perception is how we interpret reality. In many cases, what we percieve is not really how it actually is.

The world exists in here (our minds, which are conditioned by our own prejudices, mis/uninformed ideologies, religion, narrow-minded opinions, cable news con men, etc, etc) and not out there (the world as it is).

We are all cyborgs, are we not? If you weren't raised by wolves, away from culture, society, media, then you probably are.
