    Well I know he's not cool but I'll admit I'm a fan and I look forward to this tribute. Some of my earliest memories of music are from my mom playing his records.

    I'm a big fan of John Denver - unfortunetly started to listen to him after his death... I was pregnant with my daughter at the time and his death struck me hard. 15 yrs ago already. RIP JD

    Thanks for posting. I was a huge John Denver fan when I was young, and still enjoy hearing some of the old songs. I am definitely interested in this tribute album.

    Slightly Stoopid does a great cover of Leaving on a Jet Plane. And I like Brett Dennen, Amos Lee and Dave so I'll check it out.

    Finally got around to buying today. Although it's not mentioned in the song listings, J. Mascis does a bitching cover of the song "Prisoners". It basically becomes a Dinosaur Jr. song. I would have never thought in a million years this was possible to do with a John Denver song.
