God, I hope never. I loathe him and his show, and if it's for more than a performance I don't need to hear him asking Eddie what positions he and his wife like.

Howard has matured quite a bit, it would be a wonderful show.

I am a Howard fan. Say what you want, and I totally understand that opinion of him. There's certain guests he goes there with. I'm pretty sure it would be more about the music and the scene back in the day. Howard is the best interviewer out there in my opinion. No bullshit. Just great interviews. The one last week with Henry Winkler was awesome. Some great Van Halen inside info last week from Valerie Bertinelli too. Details no other interviewer would get. Oh, and she waxes.

I'm pretty sure he would show them a lot of respect. Cornell interview a few months ago was awesome, and sex never came up. Listen to that interview, and your thoughts might change. Best interviewer in the business, bar none. He does a lot of nonsense goofy stuff. But his skills are impeccable when it comes to getting the real story out of people.

Let the flaming begin. Just my opinion.

yup you're a 100% right. Certain guests get no punches pulled and others guests are treated more delicately. Kurto26 clearly doesnt listen to the show. Its a typical ignorant response but thats ok. Howard is one of the, if not the best interviewer today. Winkler was awesome, Bertinelli also. Cornell gave an amazing interview which is why I think PJ would be totally fine.

While I agree with you, there is one fundamental problem with your assessment... the control issue. Howard Stern is definitely one of the best interviewers out there and would be in complete control of the interview, not the band. And we all know how PJ is about control... expecially Ed...

I wouldn't expect this band to ever submit to an interview with Howard... it's just not their style. They are going to do interviews with people/personalities they can dominate and control the questions/tone/atmosphere/etc, and Howard has proven time and time again, he's not that guy.
Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.

People have no idea who Howard Stern really is. It is kinda like Republicans....if you have complete disdain for government, why would we trust you? Well, if you have complete disdain for the human condition; which I will argue Howard is first and foremost interested in and the most brilliant person I have heard able to uncover something inherently human with figures we don't have access to - whether strippers or Sacha Baron Cohen or Chris Cornell

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1GWp-ZCQUw4

or some whacko (IMO) Victoria Jackson.....you get to know how people operate and to say Howard is simply this or that is something short of honest. I listen to Rush and to Sean Hannity....and would say I detest them - I get exactly what they are all about....creating a complete lie about what is about because they have no curiosity about how life is for other people outside their group. They are brilliant at finding the soft and fearful spots with the people that listen to them, and they serve a great roll for a movement I don't agree with at all. Howard does the complete opposite...he is thoughtful and challenges people. Yes, this all is a ludicrous argument if all you ever see is Anal Ring Toss and make your opinion...but listen for four hours, listen to the questions he takes on himself and how honest he is. He's the most human 'being' I have ever had access to.... (Eddie has that image we create, but that I think is present too.....and that, my friends, is why I think A: you should give Howard a chance, and a vanilla chance is with AGT...no midgets or whack pack there... B: Pearl Jam should go on HS)
Formally known as Tackalac before being formally known as Vedderwt,,,,....release my old name and posts....

Actually I have, though not recently. Not my thing at all; and to put it delicately, I find his hardcore fans to be much worse than him, like in line with Juggalos. I'm not lumping you guys in that assessment, but I've seen fans shout down any hint that their dear Howard isn't the best. So like I said, I hope Pearl Jam never goes near his show, but that's just me.
