Does Crashious Roadside need permission for the bands?

Just curious, I have thought about doing what he does, but was wondering do you need to have permission from the bands? I know I could always ask a lawyer, but this is much cheaper! lol

    You'll definately need their permission, and if you get this of course they'll want to communicate with you exactly what they expect as their cut of the revenue.

    if you're gonna mass produce pearl jam hoodies, you need their permission.

    if you're gonna have people send you their tee shirts and create hoodies for them, you don't
    i have a paper here that entitles me to fast track status

    What exactly is mass produce? To me that would mean several hundred/thousand pieces, if you only make 20-30 hoodies, using previously released t-shirts, I don't see why you would need permission. I may just have to call the ten club and find out....thanks for the insight though.

    No offense to Crashious, but he doesn't exactly score high marks for customer service. I have attempted to call/email him several times about making me a custom hoodie, or just general questions about items in his online store, which is very rarely updated with no merch. I just feel there is room for someone who can do it bigger and better!

    I have two shirts that I would love to be made into a hoodie. Also, I have a number that has been significant to me my entire life that I want incorporated somehow with a patch or stitching somewhere on the hoodie. Shoot me a PM if you're looking for a test subject.....
