    Not that big...their are skunks in my neibourhood...just ignore them...they usually run away from people...in my experience.

    I read this yesterday.. how fucked is on drugs or alcohol was this guy to mistake a kid (family member no less) for a fucking skunk? This makes me mad and could have killed her... ANOTHER reason why I hate guns.

    That's what I was wondering. Either this is one tiny 9 year old, or the skunks are massive. How ridiculous. I hope the girl is ok.

    and further more why do people think they can just go around shooting randomly at animals??? and this was in a suburban area..

    The largest skunk in North American tops out around 14 pounds....14 pounds.....and you thought a nine year old kid was a skunk....seriously. :fp:

    We have some trigger happy people in this country....shoot first then maybe ask questions later. Was this thing he saw behaving or doing something threatening that he NEEDED to shoot? Also, was a warning given before one fires off a shotgun?
