"The Veil"

I wish to witness, the singularity, where the first breath and awareness became one. To experience death; falling from grace while hope rests upon fingers outstretched. The middle is without reason; like a wind without a place to be. The answers to our questions will lead us beyond measures of time and space. Disappointment will bend the face as we stare with eyes that have not yet seen.

A place so barren and vast; where emptiness can only be found upon first glance.

But with the recollections of our past rising from transition; surely hope will be renewed. As we place the pieces of ourselves the despair will yield. We will have gone to a place that is higher than high; the fullness of expression imprinted among the shades of desolation. We will have transcended the arc; drawn to a calling beyond our name. In doing so we will have witnessed not only the story of ourselves but that of the cosmos and human being.
I am a nothing dreaming of something unknown.

    touched by these words thanks
whenever I hear or see the word `veil` I immediately remember the movie `the painted veil` It is not rare that if esp you did not read the book first, films made from books hits you
Living is no laughing matter: you must live with great seriousness like a squirrel for example - I mean without looking for something beyond and above living, I mean living must be your whole occupation.
