How many hours a week do you spend at work?

I am going to put in 60+ hours this week...
And it has officially kicked me in the ass!!!

I usually work anywhere between 50-60 hours a week...

How many do you put in?
Take me piece by piece.....
Till there aint nothing left worth taking away from me.....

    Usually 70 -75 hours over 5 days...and then on call 24/7. The past 2 weeks have not been good for sleeping...lots of overnight calls. 9.5 hours and I'm going home and sleeping...I don't think I'll even hear my phone :yawn:

    Average 60. The most I haveever worked was 84 (this will never happen again).

    I think he works even more than me...plus school...but he makes out pretty well with overtime. No overtime for me :x I'm not sure of his total hours...but I know that I saw him for 5 minutes at 10pm last night and I'll see him again around 2:30pm tomorrow...and that's a good week :lol: :crazy:

    It goes through cycles though...obviously much slower during semester breaks. October always makes me want to bang my head against the wall :lol:

    When i worked out in the "Field" we call it...so to speak...working construction/pipe fitter...
    Had a blast...averaged 50-55hrs a week over a good 10 year period...
    Blasting Pearl Jam on the jobsite radio as absolutely much as possible...
    everyone knew i loved pj...stickers all over our gang box/ hard hats/etc etc...

    Now that i'm in the office...still working 50 hrs per week...
    just not near as fun/nor do i get to blast the music as often!!! lol...

    Non-Season (may-dec): 37.5/ + 5 weeks of vacation

    usually 10.5 a day sometimes 10 sometimes 11 5 days a week so about 50.

    I swear to god if my boss had to pay me OT he would not be busting our chops to "stay and work later to make a difference"

    40 for me. I feel like a slacker compared to you guys.

    Though I'm not technically on-call, I've given my phone number to my staffs in case of emergencies. I'll get paid if I do receive a call when I'm off.

    Used to be 60 minimum with a minimum of 15 hours of commute time. Busy months would be 70 + commute. This is when I ran Operations for my company.

    Now I run Sales and work from home office. 50 per week, no commute but do have to travel frequently. (And I make more now.)

    Yeah, I just stare at my desk; but it looks like I'm working. I do that for probably another hour after lunch, too. I'd say in a given week I probably only do about fifteen minutes of real, actual, work.

    I'm supposed to put in 40 (salary-based) but I work from home and I'm on the road a lot. It really varies week to week.
    I'd say anywhere from 30-50 on average.
    I never work weekends. F that!

    40 for me, or less than 40 because I take an hour & 45mins lunchbreak on Tuesdays to go to my fav yoga class & leave early on Tuesdays as well to get to a meeting I go to. If I do have to come in early or stay late(never really happens) I take time in lieu to make up for it. + when I'm at my desk most of the time i don't have much to do so am just surreptitiously surfing the net. I'm looking for a new job coz it bores me to death!
