"Our president has had some very fine and gracious moments. Don't tell him I said so, but our 44th president has many gifts and a beautiful family that would make any man proud," he said. "In our country you can oppose someone in politics and make a confident case against their policies without an ill will. And that's how it is for me."

and we argue over their politics, two men in different partys that understand what it's really all about in a race for the office of president...maybe we could learn something here ?

It probably felt good to both of them to kid around a bit after nearly duking it out with fisticuffs in the debate.
"Pretty cookies, heart squares all around, yeah!"

Yeah, I caught both of their remarks last night - too bad they're not always on such civil behavior.

My favorite line was how the media would report that Obama was embraced by Catholics, and Romney dined with rich people :P

(not to mention Obama's "stroke" comment about Chris Matthews. Whoa, baby!)

I always like this dinner, both had great jokes (written for them) and were fairly humourous.
