I am unable to comment on a thread because the topic has been locked.

Is that fair ?
Didn't Eddie stand for non-censorship at one point?

Give me a break. This goes against everything Eddie was suppose to be about.

BTW the conversation that got blocked included the topic that Obama was taking away 2nd amendment rights.
Here is Wayne LaPierre fighting OBAMA's Arms Trade Treaty (ATT) in the United Nations this year.
The ATT is Obamas attack on the 2nd amendment.

For those that dont know the 2nd amendment is in the BILL OF RIGHTS and is seen as a basic human right.

I will be surprised if this post is not censored as well. Which says what????

The 2nd Amendment is in the US Constitution. (although the "Bill of Rights" is considered to be the first 10.... so you're technically right.)

But basic human rights are considered to be a list of 30 rights.

You can read about them here.

But owning weapons isn't on that list.

Anyway... while I'm sure you're VERY upset that you weren't allowed to go off about... something. I have a feeling that "Eddie doesn't agree with me" isn't the reason that the thread was closed. Peruse this forum.

There's plenty of conservative input in AMT in several threads and they don't get locked. Why cry censorship? Just follow posting guidelines and the thread will be fine, whether it's liberal, conservative, or about boobies. Boards with no mods just turn into turd holes (see 'yahoo user comments' or any mid to large sized newspaper).

I've seen someone on here advocate bombing the shit out of a certain race and religion and NOT get locked or suspended. But I sounded off on some dude ripping a fellow club member off for tix and got 1 week suspension for calling that person a DB. So to be fair, it isn't just conservative threads getting locked. But I do see your point about "not" having REAL freedom of speech in this forum and at the way things are going, not going to have it much longer ANYWHERE......

I disagree with a lot of Eddie's politics and I've been posting on here for 8 years. I've never had a topic closed or been banned for any period of time.

I think threads tend to get locked when they stray from topic, or when people start being assholes, crossing a line (though that line does seem to shift at times!).

Or when they go against the guidelines of the forums.

(I have to say I'm thankful I've either backspaced over or saved as drafts many of my heated responses to some of the posts I've read here)
