Looking for good PJ songs to do on acoustic:
Obviously, the natural acoustic ones work (EWBCST, DAUGHTER, JUST BREATH)

I am looking for ideas that you wouldn't normally think of on acoustic
ideas?
Long Road would be easy....

Great list. I can only play Unthought Known and Lukin, but I'll definitely be jumping into some of these.

Try "Yellow Ledbetter." I've messed with it a few times on acoustic with just the chords and I like it.

Ah, great topic -- yeah, rearranging some of these for easy campfire acoustic works jsut fine! You know the song in your head so totally easy to play and singalong.

Glad to see Release made a list! 3 chord rock at it's finest!

My reportoire is pretty light actually - Release, Black, Yellow Ledbetter, SOLAT, Think Air, Light Years, Around the Bend; and then Hard Sun and Society. Hmmm. I'm missing a few - Oh Alt Jeremy. RVM, Porch.

Alt Jeremy on a uke actually works nice!

Campfire, BBQs and stuff, we've had some super renditions of Zep's Battle of Evermore, girls guys splitting the parts, but basically works better if the chicks sing: Oh, dance in the dark night, sing to the morning light

But when the drinks are really flowing, the guys can pull off that part just fine!
    [sic] happens
  • These ones sound really GREAT with only accoustic guitar (not in any particular order of preference):

    Low Light
    Release (great to play!)
    Betterman
    Nothingman
    Man of the hour
    Just Breath
    Not for you
    Elderly Woman Behind the ...
    Black
    The End
    Off he goes (also great!)
    Daughter (of course:) )
    Immortality
    Indiference
    Smile
