The list is very long, but since I need to choose one: Hard to Imagine
Let's say knowledge is a tree, yeah.
It's growing up just like me.

    Present tense.

    No code is the best.

When live and work shit is stacking up "all encompassing trip" helps me come back to earth.

    "Present Tense"

do you see the way that tree bends?
    does it inspire?
leaning out to catch the sun's rays
    a lesson to be applied
are you getting something out of this all encompassing trip?
you can spend your time alone, redigesting past regrets, oh
or you can come to terms and realize
you're the only one who can't forgive yourself, oh
makes much more sense to live in the present tense
have you ideas on how this life ends?
checked your hands and studied the lines
have you the belief that the road ahead ascends off into the light?
seems that needlessly it's getting harder
to find an approach and a way to live
are we getting something out of this all-encompassing trip?
you can spend your time alone redigesting past regrets, oh
or you can come to terms and realize
you're the only one who cannot forgive yourself, oh
makes much more sense to live in the present tense

I totally agree. PT gives me chills--it's a beautiful, thought-provoking song.

    2. Oceans (the surprise)

IT would be cool to hear them play Apple.. it' the first recording I bought on a cassette at a club, and I love it still. I don't know if they've recorded it post MLB.

I still have the promo cds from Apple and MLB's first album (last album) release. I was working teaching, and the university let me do a radio show- so when that set came in-- I begged to keep the extra set.. and stil have them today. It would be amazing to hear Apple completely... so much of Andy says is what ended up happening in the real world after he died.

  • there are MANY. original PJ songs would be: Come Back, Amongst The Waves, Release and probably #1 would be I AM MINE. But i would pass out if they did their cover version of the Kinks song "Better Things". It is one of my favorite songs of all time. And when i heard it on PJ radio for the first time, I almost crashed my car - i was so overwhelmed!
so yeah, if they did "Better Things" live, i would probably sob like a baby. Fingers crossed that they decide to do it in the fall in either Los Angeles or Portland! cuz i will be there and i will be waiting!!!!
  • I'm hoping for Better Things during the fall tour too! I have already heard it in Amsterdam, but would love to hear it again! :D

  • I am going to my first show in Nov. and there are a number of songs that I would love to hear. If I had to pick one, or maybe two, I'd choose Sirens because I love this new song and their cover of Masters of War. I've watched a video from an '06 show that they performed Masters of War at and it is just amazing. I'd love to hear it in person. :D
