I have listened to all the boots..

Yes, all of them (obsessed with boots much..?)

I am putting together a "best of" mix for this tour..

and the winner is??????

Washington DC ..

not even close.. (no, I was not there)

great vocals (Eddie holds the "All I'll beeeeee" line)
Great Mikey solo.. whole band is cooking..

BTW.. the very next song on the boot "Rearviewmirror" wins as well...crisp and bouncing..!

not big fan of the rest of this boot (mostly because Eddie forgets lots of lyrics..even th opener "Hard to Imagine") but these two songs are "best of" the whole tour..

If you were there..take a bow!

I think it was DC, the Roo had too much Boom in it. Not that I don't like Boom, it was just too much for that song for me.

  • Tampa. It got played as a request and crowd participation was very good. On the boot, Boom is a little more distinct and that adds a cool sound to it also!

    "Black" wasn't done in hartford..

Tampa may be good but the boot sound quality is so poor, who can judge other than the people who were there..

Ed had a "diva moment - hissy fit" at mansfield 1 and stopped singing "Black" at one point ..
so that crossed it off my list (and I was there too!)

after reading this thread I feel like I'm getting it rubbed in my face for this reason: 5 pj concerts attended, Black played 0 times at those shows. I thought for sure attending all 3 sf shows in 06 would solve that problem, but I was wrong. At least I did get to hear In My Tree, which is a super awsome treat. But I do love black and would like to hear it live just 1 time.

Better than Vienna, Austria 2006? why was it that good? good tag at the end?

I saw Black in DC and Mansfield I, and I'd have to go with DC by far out of those two.

I actually think RVM from Camden II is the best of the tour. I was there, but i also own 4 other bootlegs. It was the best RVM on the tour in my opinion.

Ed's vocals are solid, matt absolutely crushes the drums during mike's solo.......its great, loved the way matt played this tour

This version of "Porch", "Garden", "Betterman", "Evenflow" and "Why Go",
actually - the whole thing is just fucking sick. It's going to force me to spend thousands on a new sound system!
    Any suggestions on equipment/brands?

^ That would be incorrect, sir. You may, the song does not.

DC was the best (I heard)!
