Doesn't sound familiar to me, except it sounds like a Stones song. It's the classic 5-string, open G tuning that so many Stones songs use, and I've never heard anybody else use, so maybe they "ripping off" themselves.
All in all it sounds kind of Stones By Numbers to me. It's better than it has to be, and good enough to make me buy "Grrrrrr", but even as a huge Stones fan I'm not all that excited. I'm waiting for Keith's "One More Shot", Keith's songs are always pretty good.
A new album would probably get me more excited, but two new songs on YET ANOTHER compilation is a little less thrilling. Especially with all the cool stuff going on during the anniversary. All the archive shows being released, either through the Archive Series or physical releases like "Some Girls: Live In Texas '78" and Muddy Waters/Rolling Stones "Live At The Checkerboard Lounge, Chicago '81", the actual live shows, and lots of other cool stuff that has happened and will happen. Lots of stuff going on, and Grrr is probably what I'm least excited about.

I heard it this morning and thought it was pretty good. I liked some of the lyrics as well although I didn't catch the end of the song.
