I was just wondering if anyone has registered and then the day of their show found out that their seats were no where NEAR as close as they thought they would be. I'm sure there are a lot of 10C members that don't frequent the board or related sites. I'm headed to The Gorge and don't know whether to figure on good seats or not. My number is 218xxx.

Yea, you cant really base your tickets on that site...I figure it this way. According to touringfans.com i was in the top 40 for night 2 in boston. SO if each of the top 40 got 2 tickets, thats 80 tickets. There were I think 42 seats in each row. So thay would place me in the 2nd, maybe 3rd row. I sat 13th row. (no i am not complaining).

Also On night 1 4 guys who def werent in the fan club sat in front of me. Thye had tickets on paper like they were printed off ticketmaster.com. All those seats up front dont go to 10c
    Hartford 96
    Mansfield 98 x 2
    Mansfield 00 x2
    Mansfield 03 x 3
    Boston 04 VFC x 2

Keep in mind that most people who purchase tickets through 10c DO NOT post their number on touringfans.com. That is a small subset of all the 10c members who buy tickets for a show. Thus, I would not use that to get a sense of your seats. However, what is more helpful is seeing where people with particular 10c numbers ACTUALLY sat. So, check the lists after the shows to see where people with a similar number to yours sat. That may give you some approximation of your seats for a given show.

Great info, that's what I was looking for. I don't want to get my hopes too high, and I kinda want to get a feel for the relativity of the data on touring fans.

I've never been to the Gorge and I see that the side rows have as few as five seats in the first row(s). That complicates my thinking even more...:)

    Thanks for filling me in!

Well, you've never been there. I'm 212xxx and got 18th row center and was VERY pleased with the view. The Gorge's "reserved" section is just piddly little folding chairs strapped together; it's really tight space-wise, so 18 rows back wasn't bad at all. I don't think you'll be let down.
