Listening to the Oslo boot on PJ Radio right now with great friends :D So many good memories, esp of being so stoked that PJ finally came to Norway after too many years!

Feeling good, feeling generous....so you win! This could be hanging up on your PJ wall soon:
veazU.jpg?1

This is what u have to do:
Many ppl I met during the Euro 2012 tour who did the scandinavian leg had never been here before and were both apprehensive and excited. Tell me what was your best memory of Oslo/Norway. Did you get to experience something typically Norwegian? Eat any traditional Norwegian food? Met a nice Norwegian local? ;) Something funny happen between the Spektrum and Fiasco? Best story that makes me go all warm and fuzzy wins - photos are a plus ;)

I'll send the winner the poster via registered post anywhere in the world, Dimi-style.

Giveaway ends wednesday, 31st October 7p.m Central European time. Get busy!
if I keep holding out,.... will the light shine through?

you tell me that after I bought the poster? ;)

seriously though, I'm not entering, but I have a nice little story to start: I fell out of the magic bus in Oslo after a long but fun ride, but I was just super tiiired, so I decided to go to bed early, but first I was going to have some real food. I found a thai take away place near my hotel, which was also surprisingly unexpensive, however I did not yet have any norwegian money on me, and they only took Visa cards with pin codes, and the ATM next door refused to work. Basically, they gave me my food for free, and I said I'd come back the next day to pay for it (which I then did). This would never ever happen in Italy...walking out with something you haven't paid for. Also, a nice PJ fan gave me his day bus card before the show, saying he didn't need it anymore. Very amazed by the kindness of strangers. :)

    Good luck everyone! :)

I didn't meet a nice local, i AM a distant local from days of yore. My surname's Olsen (the Norwegian version of Smith) and though i live in Australia i'm sure one of my viking family past would have tread on the ground that PJ graced in days gone by.
Also, i absolutely love that poster.
    Does that count?
Only joking, that's a great gesture and very generous.
    Good karma my friend.

You made me think of a tv prog we have over here called Alt for Norge (All for Norway) where American Norwegians compete and learn about Norway for the chance to eventually meet their Norwegian relatives and learn more about their past :)

Oh, and Hansen is more of a popular surname than Olsen ;)

Hansen may be more popular, but the name makes me shudder at the thought that it may have spurned those mmm bop crew

I met Silje Wergeland from the band The Gathering in Oslo. She is a wonderful singer. Oh, I know the giveaway is cancelled, so I'll spare the story. Still cool idea to do!
