Carville and Matalin

Hey guys, whatta ya say ... as we wind this election down (or rather, ramp it up) in this last month, let's take a moment and think about this power couple -- James Carville and Mary Matalin. Both made their livings spinning for presidents (Clinton and Bush Sr.), on opposite sides of aisle.

And not that I've read anything on how they do it, but they make it work. Married for nearly 20 years, they obviously realize relationships and "life" is just more important than their political beliefs.

But if these two spinmeisters can put it aside, really, how important can it all be?

NOW GET IN THE PIT AND TRY TO LOVE SOMEONE!

Nice! And refreshing - feels like it's been particularly harsh around these parts today.

Me and mine are mostly aligned politically - some differences, but they make things interesting. We learn from each other, for sure (and not only on the political front).

I think the two (politics, relationships, views, etc.) are/can be intertwined to a degree, so I do respect how they (not to mention others in similar boats) have made it.

    Also...

I'M ALREADY IN THE PIT AND LOVING SOMEONE!

Thanks for the smile, Mr/Ms jam!
