That is pretty cool... that kid will be a hero...
    Though reverse it and say
'27 year old male P.E teacher has sex with 17 year old female student'
and then we have a problem...

    Funny how society works...

Exactly! The double standard is atrocious.

Really!?? The fact that an inappropriate relationship between a teacher and a student is not the atrocity here?

    Y'all are insane. :fp:

Of course the 'relationship' is an atrocity. Had the teacher been male and the student female,
the penalties would have been much harsher, that was the point I was trying to make.

Sorry for the confusion. In no way should it be considered normal, honorable nor celebratory, under
    any circumstances.
    Nice shirt.

an atrocity? that's a little harsh don't you think? save atrocities for things a little bigger than a 17 year sleeping with an older woman. this country has gotten into a habit of blowing (pun intended :D ) things way out of proportion.

The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.

Exactly. With all the problems facing this country and world, it's amazing some of the things that our society gets all up in arms about.
