Godfather.

CBS News and "60 Minutes" correspondent Lara Logan took the gloves off last week, dropping her role as a disinterested journalist and delivering a speech in Chicago that criticized the Obama administration over its handling of the war in Afghanistan and the attack that killed four Americans in Libya.
Speaking to a crowd of about 1,100 at last Tuesday's Better Government Association annual luncheon, Logan accused the administration of downplaying the number of Al Qaeda operatives in Afghanistan to support its rush to leave. She also claimed Washington acts as apologists for the Taliban by downplaying their links to Al Qaeda and the strength of their organization

Tell you what... provide a full text transcript of her speech and I take in on its context... not Rush Limbaugh's interpretations on what she said. I can't find the transcript... only what Limbaugh had to say about it... and personally, I don't believe much of what Limbaugh has to say... not because he's a Conservative, but because he says way too much fucking crazy shit.
Thanx.
Hail, Hail!!!
Who the fuck is downplaying Al-Qaeda?
Here is what Obama is doing to Al Qaeda:

Classy
I don't care. Despite what happened to her in Cairo, I've never liked her. She is an opportunist and a vapid, vacuous individual. I have always despised her.
By the way, her husband is a war-profiteering contractor. People like him are the real reason we went to war.
classy...
"Well, you tell him that I don't talk to suckas."
First... why are we really worrying about what a money-hungry journalist form South Africa is telling us?
If every time someone who's been to the middle east comes back and yells "TERRORIST" we expect the president to jump and do what they say, it will become a big game of Global Simon Says. And the terrorists have won.
I'll trust the guy whose use of intelligence and information was good enough to find and kill Osama Bin Ladin over some woman who could maybe have an axe to grind with the people of the middle east after she was raped by a gang of them.
I'm not saying that she's wrong and I'm not attacking her status as a victim of rape... what happened to her was horrible. But I'm thinking that Captain Ahab might be trying to take us to kill her whale.
i was just thinking... since killing bin laden was mentioned. those on the right, on amt and in the media refuse to give obama credit for making the decsion to authorize the bin laden raid. people dismiss it and him by saying "he did not kill him, seal team 6 did!!!" i will bet that if it had been a republican in office they would never dismiss him in the way that they have obama. they would say "president romney (or bush, or santorum, or perry, etc) killed bin laden"...
"Well, you tell him that I don't talk to suckas."
They would have started the RNC with a big picture of his dead body with "WE DID THAT" on the megatron screen.
But it doesn't fit their narrative that all he does is sit at home and play golf (he's taken a fraction of the vacation days that the last few presidents have taken).
And you're very correct. Lara Logan can sit there and say "he should do this" all she wants. It's not she who has to be responsible for the lives of thousands of people.
News is hard to find if shows this administration in a bad light.

Yeah. Fox "news" has been so forthcoming with accurate and truthful information about the president, haven't they? Didn't they also go apeshit for a few days saying that the president was apologizing to the terrorists?
Honestly.. Laura Ingraham is living proof that no amount of smearing lipstick on your asshole stops the shit from coming out of it. Taking anything from that group of turds as fact or even fact-based is absurd. They have zero credibility when it comes to reporting stuff like this.
(Yaaaaaawwwwwwnnnnnnnnnnn.) Oh, I'm sorry, were you making another silly post?
no amount of smearing lipstick on your asshole stops the shit from coming out of it ?....... okie dokie.. you mean to tell me that Fox was the only station that reported the film theory ? the train had a whole bash fest about it and now all the sudden it's a Fox farse ?...you guys kill me !!!!
Godfather.
No, that's now what I said.
The film was the basis for the protests and riots that happened in Egypt and the news truthfully reported that. The events in Libya happened at the same time and yes, many news agencies reported them as one story. However, it was Fox News that took a statement from the Egyptian embassy made BEFORE the riots had been made... then reported that it had been made AFTER the riots and by the White House. And vigorously pushed the accusation that it was the president "apologizing" to the terrorists.
Fox "news" THEN reported (falsely) that the White House had linked the assassinations in Libya to the film. And now they're saying they did that for "a week."
And that's totally false.

Oh hey... nobody is defending the Taliban.
Just saying that letting a reporter try to dictate how to deal with the situation is a very bad idea.
Yeah I know. I didn;t want to start a new thread about the Taliban and I thought it fit here a little just to remind us all that they shoot girls that go to school and type bad words about them on the internet.
