    best rap group ever.

    easily.

yeah including RUN DMC and Beasties.

They are leagues better than both of them in my opinion.

RUN DMC and Beasties did more for HipHop to get over, but talent wise. no chance.....Wu Tang Forever.

    True...

    Funny though...

I don't really like RUN-DMC or the Beastie Boys...

Sorry but Raekwons "Only Built for Cuban Linx is the best solo album by any member.
And so you see, I have come to doubt
All that I once held as true
    I stand alone without beliefs
The only truth I know is you.

I do love that album and respect your opinion, but for me it ranks behind Liquid Swords and Return to the 36 Chambers. Biggest let down from the Wu-Fam (not Wu-Proper), has to be Cappadonna's The Pillage.

Will you probably already know this but I saw a commercial for Quentin Tarantino's new Kung-fu flick coming out and RZA is directing it. Pretty cool indeed!

I did get the Pillage on its release day. I was in grade 10 and got to school late because I *had* to pick it up first thing. I was a fairly regular poster on a big Wu-Tang forum back in the day and I remember a bunch of us were chatting about our excitement, then later that week the excitement turned to disappointment. I can't remember much off the album, but I still remember the feeling of being let down big-time. I haven't listened to it in more than a decade, so maybe I should give it another shot. I know it's sitting somewhere at home collecting dust.

EDIT: I was thinking back and can only remember two tracks off the disc, Run & Slang Editorial. Those are probably the only two I really dug back then, but I'll give another try sometime.

the two you mention are probably the best, run being the lead single. check for a nigga, MCF, oh donna, title track, milk the cow. its not completely solid, there are still some skippers for me, but some tracks, not to be overlooked for sure. i heard RZA didnt pay cappa a dime for that album.

you remember the wu mansion on the enhanced version of wutang forever? that was hilarious. cutting edge stuff back then. exploring it on the pc was hours of fun.

"[Brett Atwood, Interactive Editor for Billboard Magazine,] said most consumers remain unaware of multimedia content on an ECD, even though an increasing number of young listeners are using their computer's CD-ROM drive as an audio-CD player."

I guess I'm like most consumers.

Thanks for the link. It was a good read.
