opening bands for 2013

  • Sub Pop has some excellent artists these days besides Mudhoney that I think could fit well as an opening act. It would be a huge boon to these bands for Pearl Jam to give them that kind of exposure. Acts like; The Head and the Heart, Father John Misty, King Tuff, Poor Moon and Metz. I would love to see any of those bands open for PJ.

100% Agree with this statement. I can't stop listening to their music. Its been a long time since a band has come out that I don't get sick of. Each album is great.

    They are the real deal!

    AMEN!

    Sleater Kinney (laughs)

Imagine the craptastic inevitable encore: hunger strike, leaving here, fortunate son, rockin in the free world.

I still have nightmares about those encores...

They could have the Beatles opening for them, but I'm still gonna be in the parking lot pounding my last beer until the opening band plays their last song.

I would really dig Silversun Pickups, Gaslight Anthem, Rise Against or Band of Horses (again).
    My lips are shaking.......
  • How about a 10 Club sponsored battle of the bands? Use PJ's might to help a complete unknown.
