100% Agree with this statement. I can't stop listening to their music. Its been a long time since a band has come out that I don't get sick of. Each album is great.

    They are the real deal!

Yes! To see my 2 fav bands on the same night would be so great.

Sub Pop has some excellent artists these days besides Mudhoney that I think could fit well as an opening act. It would be a huge boon to these bands for Pearl Jam to give them that kind of exposure. Acts like; The Head and the Heart, Father John Misty, King Tuff, Poor Moon and Metz. I would love to see any of those bands open for PJ.

YESSSS! - Metz are from my hometown and it would be tits to see them open up for PJ!

Imagine the craptastic inevitable encore: hunger strike, leaving here, fortunate son, rockin in the free world.

I still have nightmares about those encores...

well good for you is that SK are no more. wild flag and corin tucker's new band are good.. not everyone's cup of tea.

They could have the Beatles opening for them, but I'm still gonna be in the parking lot pounding my last beer until the opening band plays their last song.

How about a 10 Club sponsored battle of the bands? Use PJ's might to help a complete unknown.

    1. At The Drive-In (Let's make this happen, Cedric has said they're down :D )
    2. Rage Against The Machine (I can dream)
    3. Mute Math (would make for a great opener and an epic show)
    4. Soundgarden/AIC/Smashing Pumpkins(would be cool to see PJ and SG on the same stage and AIC and the Pumpkins would be nice too)

Would Jack Whites ego be too large to fit on stage before PJ?

I would love to see Dead Sara open. I hear their live show is great. But they signed on to open for Muse on the US run next year.

Unfortunately I think Scott Lucas would rather chop off his own hands then open for anybody like PJ but one can dream.

I think Band of Skulls would be perfect though!
