I support unconstitutional wars.

I support drone strikes on sovereign nations.

I support taxpayer funded bailouts.

I support corporatism.

I support the actions of the Federal Reserve.

I support deficit spending.

I have no desire to reduce the revenue coming in to the general government.

I support the PATRIOT Act.

I support the war on drugs.

I support foreign aid.

I support the TSA.

I support NDAA.

I support the IRS.

I support taxpayer funded healthcare.

I do what my puppeteer tells me to.

WHO AM I?

Basically this election boils down to social issues, and you will choose accordingly. That's fine if you don't care about the abuses of all of the above.

I was going to guess Obama, but you didn't list "Quadrupling the amount of oil and gas drilling rigs in the United States in the last 4 years" on the list.

    So is it Mitt?

If Obama had a (R) behind his name, he would be the greatest GOP hero since Ronald Reagan.

I tell my hardcore GOP supporting friends that say we need Mitt to be elected so we can start drilling the facts about how much drilling has expanded since Obama took over, and their response is a look of puzzlement, then a shake of the head dismissing it, and then saying "whatever".

I don't know if I agree with that, but his use of Drones would certainly be viewed differently by many.

You know, Obama's rhetoric over the last 2 years has really put me off from him. I actually had some of that hope for change before that. I just wish the repub running was either the original Mitt, before the religious right got ahold of him, or someone else like Jon Huntsman would be even better.

You know, as it gets closer the more I realize how screwed we are either way.

Can you imagine the outrage if McCain was the President and was carrying out these drone bombings? Holy shit!

There would be marches and protests, lectures at PJ concerts, cries for McCain to be tried for war crimes ... the whole shabang from the left. Instead, the left treat the drone bombings much like Penn State treated Sandusky for a decade. Just pretend it isn't happening.

    That's a good point.

This is very true. I don't post in AMT very often for that very reason. Politics for many has become a spectator sport where we root for the good guys and hate the bad guys. As a lifelong independent it is hard when you see good and bad on both sides.

Funny enough, was reading a thread on the Porch I think about the recent PJ concert in Montana and someone literally wrote that PJ was supporting Tester, "a dem (i.e. Good guys)"

I see the same here in this forum all too often - injecting a political slant seemingly just for the sake of it, even if the topic at hand has nothing to do with politics or parties. Or the ever-fun slamming of people who seek out information from multiple news sources, including the "will-SO-make-you-stupider-you-stupidhead!" Fox.

I'll say that I don't have a team, per se. Well, maybe I do...it's my country, as a whole.

I want us - every single one of us who want it and are willing to earn it, to work for it - to prosper as best we can.

I'm fucking sick of the infighting, sick of the childish "well HE did it first" mentality, sick of the condescension, sick of excuses, sick of passing the buck, sick of style over substance.

    (whew...that felt good!)

And if it were Bush doing this stuff you'd be protesting like you were from 2003-2008. Face it, the majority on this board are nothing but hypocrites on this.

In the meantime myself, and some others here, protest them all.

This seems like a fair enough request.

but that isn't really what we are talking about is it ... i know unsung to be a ron paul supporter ... fair enough ... however with no ron paul to support in the upcoming election - it's pretty clear he's turned his attention to getting obama out of office ... so, what does that leave us? ... MITT ...

I'm actually undecided as to whom will get my vote, but rest assured it will not be either of the two on stage last night. I attack Obama because he is the current POTUS, and will win re-election IMO. I attack Obama just like I attacked Bush, there is not a partisan bone in my body. I don't vote for political parties, I was booted out of my county GOP group because I wouldn't toe the line.

I attack Obama because he has continued or expanded Bush policies. I attack him because most of you won't.

but you do accept that it will either be obama or mitt as the next president?

and that ultimately, by channeling your efforts to prevent an obama re-election you are essentially choosing mitt over obama ... it's one thing if you made threads about mitt's deficiencies but you aren't ... so, you can claim your non-partisan beliefs all you want but you did start a thread with this video ...

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=p ... pAOwJvTOio

something that does absolutely nothing but take the political process into the gutter ... so - ya ... claim to be non-partisan but it's pretty clear what your primary motivation is for this election ...
