Sometimes you just have to appreciate life. Sit back. Smell the roses. Appreciate all that is great right now. I'd love to hear some other members great moments.
Right now I'm sitting in my room at at Super 8 in Missoula Montana that smells like a wet dog's ass. The carpet under my feet is wet. It's been that way since I got here on Friday. I'm pretty sure I haven't spilled anything. The Dukes of Hazzard movie is on tv and the traffic noise is ridiculously loud. Also, the remote control is sticky since I got here. Heaven.

It's called "The Art of Happiness" and it has some pretty basic teachings... to summarize them in one sentence would be "You create yourself by what you think and what you feel". It just really breaks down how to change your state of mind into believing that "everything that happens to me is the best thing that can happen to me." In trying times, remind yourself of that truth and cause yourself to act as though whatever might be causing difficulty is for your maximum and ultimate benefit.
In a round about way, it's just a book with a message of think, believe, and feel positive, and you will exist positive. It's not an earth shattering concept, but it's just been a very great read thus far in it's simplicity.
Anyway, I digress. The book has helped me further embrace an attitude that I'd like to think I've always had to some degree and that is to appreciate life, like you say, and recognize the positivity that surrounds you everyday. Don't dwell on the negative; it will poison and consume you.
Sorry for babbling in your thread. My hippy spew probably doesn't belong. Hope you enjoyed the show!
