Poster has been sold! Enjoy it buyer!
New price cut--gotta get my Vedder ABQ poster framed!
I have this in storage so will have to post or send photos at a later time... But looking through my folio recently, I have way too many posters I'd like to frame in the near future and not enough money to do it. So I have decided to sell what may be the crown jewel of my collection, from a show I didn't attend, and put the money towards getting some posters framed for shows I DID attend (or just really like the designs i.e. Vedder Hawaii)
This poster was purchased at the show in 1998 by a relative of mine who brought it back safely for me. It is in great condition and the only flaw I remember from it is a tiny smudge (or defect) in the ink near the top of one of the corners... it is just kind a slight discoloration, if I remember correctly it is about 1/4". This is the cartoony looking poster of the submarine guys, from the Memorial Stadium shows in July 98--also on the bill was Wallflowers, Sean Lennon and Zeke. Besides being one of the earliest PJ/Ames collaborations, it is also one of those rare "tall and skinny" PJ posters... very cool narrow design.
I had it custom framed in a basic blue metal frame (matches the poster nicely) with non-glare glass around 10-12 years ago. It is NOT dry mounted. This poster is not matted in the frame.
Includes priority shipping within the USA only, insurance, and paypal fees on my end (do NOT send payment as a gift and I will only ship to your CONFIRMED address that is confirmed on your Paypal info). I expect priority shipping and insurance to run $40-60 depending on location because of the size and weight of the box. This is included in the price. I would prefer not to ship outside of the US (or at least North America) for fear of the package being in transit for a long long time and a glass frame being part of the package... but I don't know--has anyone shipped a framed print across the world and how did it turn out??
I would appreciate it if you are listed in the A+ Buyers thread and if I get more than one interested party, the person who is listed in that thread will get the first crack at it.
If you think I am asking too much, please remember that I am also factoring in the cost of the frame in the price (on top of paypal fees, shipping & insurance fees)--you won't have to pay to frame it unless you are really picky and want a different color, matting, or something!
If you are serious about buying please let me know and I will dig it out this weekend & send you some photos. Just figured I'd put it out there, thinking about my future new & improved "poster room" at my next (yet to be purchased) home...

To the other post, I am not sure if it is UV glass... I think it is? It's non glare, it's the "middle quality" glass... Not the super duper museum quality they offer.... But better than basic glass with glare. It has only been previously displayed in my poster room (now baby's room) never exposed to direct sunlight (or any sunlight really).
It will be a couple days till I get pics done as it's in storage right now...

I assume its the blue/black one with the space needle in the background? (Theres one that has a white background, with a blue/green motif, but its not the official poster, its the one that was used to advertise the event, and people often try to pass that one off).
420's a fair price but its out of my budget :( It's a lowball but if you'd ever let it go for 375 including shipping to Canada look me up That's probably why I haven't ever bought one yet... i can't bring myself to pay 400 for a poster :(
Yes it has the Space Needle as the "A" in Seattle, mostly blue & black colors. It reminds me of a Ward Sutton cartoon. It's a great poster. I just wasn't at the show and want to take the money and frame more posters that have more "importance" to me.
If I get desperate I will look you up. Not even sure how much canada shipping would cost. It weighs about 8 pounds. I can't bring myself to pay $400 for a poster either man... I just know there are people here who do that sometimes.
